A quiet morning in Hong Kong is violently interrupted by an attack from the Mandarin's malevolent minions! The Avatars, five bizarre creatures with supernatural powers, begin ripping up the city and moving towards the headquarters of Stark Industries' Far East Division! The slaughter of the innocent civilians will continue unchecked... unless Force Works intervenes! So in dramatic fashion the Scarlet Witch, Century, Spider-Woman, and the U.S. Agent airdrop into the island city and counterattack against Lich, Foundry, Deluge, Q'wake, and Butterfly! Meanwhile at the conclusion to Iron Man 310, the Mandarin captured Iron Man and War Machine! And now the two armored avengers stand immobilized before the Chinese super-villain!
